Pineapple Careers is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established organisation based in Horsham to recruit a Workshop Operative on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop
- Use hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery in a safe and controlled manner
- Pick and pack customer orders
- Follow drawings, job sheets, and production instructions accurately
- Print transport labels and prepare finished products
- Carry out quality checks on unfinished and semi-finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Liaise with other departments to ensure workflow efficiency
- Receive, identify, label and store materials appropriately
- Keep the Workshop clean, tidy and compliant with H&S standards
- Check incoming deliveries against paperwork and report damages
- Accurately manage goods-in, including receipting, unpacking and storing
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in a workshop, production or manufacturing environment
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on, active environment
- Experience with the fabrication, assembly or packing of bespoke products
- Conscientious
- Strong timekeeping and reliability
- Able to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Health & Safety
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Salary & Benefits:
- £26,000 - £32,000
- Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.30
- 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
