Pineapple Careers is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established organisation based in Horsham to recruit a CAD Technician on a full-time, permanent basis. Are you an experienced Draughtsperson or Product Designer with strong skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks? Do you enjoy producing accurate technical drawings and visual designs while working with a high degree of autonomy? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD/ SolidWorks/ Onshape
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions and component layouts
- Amend and update drawings in line with customer requirements, director feedback and production constraints
- Support the creation of visual assets and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Drawings comply with internal standards and are suitable for manufacturing
- Liaise with estimating, production and customer service teams to ensure drawings align with specifications and costs
- Customer briefs and technical requirements into clear build-ready designs
- Contribute ideas for improving design efficiency, product functionality and manufacturing processes
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a CAD Technician, Product Design or Technical Draughtsperson role
- Background in Product Design, Engineering, manufacturing or related technical disciplines
- Relevant qualification in Product Design, Engineering, CAD or similar
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks or Onshape
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is advantageous
- Ability to produce clear, accurate and detailed technical drawings
- Understanding of manufacturing methods, materials, and tolerances

Salary & Benefits:
- £35,000 - £45,000
- Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.30
- 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
