Pineapple Careers is proud to be working with a well-established organisation based near Horsham, who are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Hire Desk Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. While previous hire desk experience is beneficial, it’s not essential — we’re primarily looking for a strong people manager with excellent leadership, organisational and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the hire desk team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries regarding equipment hire, availability, pricing and delivery
- Coordinate equipment hires, delivery and collection in collaboration with external hauliers
- Oversee the accuracy and timely processing of hire contracts
- Maintain and update the hire management system with real-time data
- Resolve customer complaints and disputes in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure the team is well-trained and aligned with company policies and procedures
- Monitor hire desk performance and produce regular utilisation and performance reports
- Collaborate closely with the sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity
- Ensure adherence to health & safety procedures and compliance with relevant industry regulations

Salary & Benefits:
