Pineapple Careers is delighted to be working with a well-established, family-run renewable energy company in West Sussex to recruit a motivated Trainee Solar Panel Fitter for a full-time, permanent position. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, this is an exciting opportunity to join a trusted team dedicated to delivering high-quality, sustainable energy solutions on a variety of domestic & commercial projects across Sussex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems
- Mount and secure solar panels according to design specifications
- Connect wiring and electrical components to ensure the system is fully functional
- Performing maintenance and repairs on the above technologies
- Working as part of a team to deliver the best customer experience possible
- Troubleshooting problems and finding solutions
- Completing work-related documentation accurately
- Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met and followed
- Ad-hoc requirements to support and meet business needs

Personal Profile:
- Physically fit and healthy – this is an active, hands-on role
- Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
- Keen to develop a long-term, practical career in renewable energy
- A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
- Any relevant experience or qualifications in construction work would be an advantage
Salary & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 17.00
